Parisian styled shoot featured on {Style Me Pretty}

By Haydee

This lovely shoot took months to bring to life, but oh was it worth it!  It brought to life inspiration I had been sharing here in my Parisian Chic series, and I was thrilled with the results!  I am so honored to see my work featured on Style Me Pretty and I couldn’t have done it without my dream team!  These are a few of my favorite images from the shoot, and you’ll have to visit the feature to see the sweet video…

The lovely photographs were shot on film, by the talented Michelle March and even though it rained on our parade, a sweet short film by Michael Burgos managed to capture the mood of that afternoon.  The inspiration was taken from a lovely lace gown and sweet shrug found at Sasha’s Bridal Boutique.

In true French style, Love in Vintage provided some authentic French vintage furniture to set the stage, including a gorgeous gilded sweetheart table and French upholstered chairs in blue velvet.  The Ancient Spanish Monastery was the perfect backdrop with its grand trees and intimate courtyard setting.

I was moved by the sweet desserts Sugar Fancies made specially for this shoot…a custom macaron tower in pink and gold, adorned with a sugar ribbon emblazoned with the phrase ‘je t’aime’ in handwritten script, and the fanciest of pink cookies decorated with gold leaf that included the bride and groom names so they could be used as place cards.  The cake was adorned with hand molded sugar flowers that must have taken hours to create.

This shoot was so special to me.  It brought together a group of individuals I had been admiring since I started Sweetest Celebrations.  I was honored to work with them, and look forward to many more opportunities to work together.
